As we enter the week before Valentine's Day, we think about all the meaningful relationships we have in our lives. What better way to celebrate them, than to present them with a gift of chocolate or candy for the February 14th holiday known as Valentine's Day, in remembrance of St. Valentine.  Here on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket we share 14 places which you can visit to locate that special confectionary gift.


Nantucket:

Townpool, 53 Main Street, Nantucket, MA 02554, Phone (774) 236-9035.  Reviewers say "Great store! Lots of fun Nantucket merchandise and a great candy section in the back of the store. Constantly getting new products to keep it spicy. Townpool is hands down one of my favorite shops on the island."

Martha's Vineyard:

One summer guest suggests "A great candy and ice cream shoppe, they have an excellent selection of different candies, wonderful ice cream and amazing chocolates particularly the truffles, which are handmade in the shoppe.  The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and patient, no matter how busy."

I noticed lots of holiday themed candy in addition to fudge, licorice, jelly slices, nonpareils, and a bunch of other candies I happily remember from my childhood! They have a beautiful assortment of chocolates to create your own box, and sell sugar free chocolates as well!"

It’s also our go-to spot for client gifts; the packaging is beautiful, and the assortment of sweets never fails to impress. If you’re in Chatham, this shop is a must-visit!"

We love venturing in and seeing what candies and chocolates they have, not to mention the coffee is always delicious! The place is packed in the summer but open year-round. I've had their sandwiches before but not this time, I remember their food being great as well! Stop in and see what all the fuss is about!"
