Does your family ever get into a rut where you’re eating the same meals, or wondering what you should cook for dinner tomorrow that the kids will actually eat? That’s a familiar scenario in our house, and from what I see in my Facebook feed, many of my friends’ houses, too.

Here are some fantastic suggestions that can help get your family fueled up on healthy meals and nutritious snacks to power through the day.

Breakfast

Happy Tot Super Morning Bowls are ready-to-eat oatmeal bowls filled with gluten-free oats, sprouted quinoa, and superfood chia for Omega-3s (ALA). Best of all, there’s no added sugar, only real organic fruits for a just-right taste of natural sweetness. Your kids can choose to eat them right out of the bowl or warm them in the microwave, and I know my kids are more likely to eat something when they have a choice in the process!

Lunch

Wondering what to pack in that school lunchbox? Add a Happy Tot Super Smart pouch. A, tasty blend of fruits and veggies, Super Smart delivers 20mg of DHA and 100mg of Choline—two essential nutrients that help support brain health for your budding scholars. Try using a frozen pouch that will help keep their lunch cold AND be a cool treat by lunchtime!

Afternoon snack

Just like adults, kids can get grumpy when they’re hungry! Try one of these tasty organic snacks from Happy Family to keep everyone happy until dinner time.

Family Dinner

One of the best ways to wind down a day is with a family dinner where we all sit down together. Next time you’re wondering about what to cook, take a look at some of the delicious recipe choices in The Happy Family Organic Cookbook. Favorites include baked salmon with peas and rice balls, mini vegetables stuffed with yogurt, carrot and raisins. Confession: I’ve served both as hors d’oeuvres at adult parties to rave reviews.

We hope these tips make meal planning easier and give your Mini Macaronis a good range of healthy choices they’ll ask for again and again!
